A 1930s Art Deco Murano glass pendant attributed to Italian artist Ercole Barovier. The stunning basket form silhouette is composed of thick twisted Murano glass and features patinated brass details along the base and top. The central piece and original canopy are crafted from rare Pulegoso glass - made by injecting a component into molten glass that reacts by releasing air bubbles, resulting in a unique, almost opaque appearance. Unmarked. Italy, 1930s.

CONDITION: Great overall vintage condition. This pendant has been rewired for U.S. use by our team of restorationists. Includes original glass canopy and patinated brass drop chain. Accepts one light bulb.
