A Mid-Century Modern solid wood coffee table crafted by Danish furniture designer Johannes Andersen in the 1960s. The Scandinavian silhouette is constructed of striking, natural grained wood in a rich, dark brown hue with auburn variations. Four sculptured, tapered legs effortlessly support the thick rectangular top. Denmark, 1960s.

Denmark is known for producing some of the most acclaimed furniture designers of the 20th century, Johannes Andersen being one of them. Andersen’s name is synonymous with Mid-Century Modern design, combining elegance, simplicity, and function. Andersen contributed to Scandinavian Modernism’s focus on practicality and space conservation, often utilizing quality woods such as rosewood, teak, and mahogany in his designs.

DIMENSIONS: 62.5”W x 23.5”D x 19.75”H

CONDITION: Great overall vintage condition. The wood has been cleaned and conditioned by our team of restorationists. Very minor marks throughout surface and legs that aligns with age and use. Maker’s mark present on underside.
